arms around each other forming a circle, two figures are inside of the
circle, one plays hand held rattles and the other a turtle shell rasp. This
shows a great and accurate look into the ritualistic ceremonies of the
ancient Colima people. Platform scene have long been some of the most

tucked underneath and holds hand out, likely once held a food piece or a

Title: Large, Very Rare Jalisco
Dog W/ Removable House Lids
Ca. 200 BC - 200 AD
Description: Well this is truly one of
the most unusual and rare of the Pre-Columbian pieces I have ever handled.
This Cream colored dog is shown laying on its belly with three cylinders
attached. The two to each side are covered with Jalisco Hut models. This is
a wonderful and rare glimpse into the life and history of the ancient
Jalisco. Each lid is perfectly and intentionally fit to each cylinder and
has a main opening at the front. Jalisco house models are some of the most
valuable of all the platform type scenes. The fact that this one has both
the very collectable and adorable dog and two houses makes it that much more
rare. This piece is also totally mint in condition, no damage and no
repairs, truly an ultra high end piece. Manganese and dendrite
deposits on the surface. If this piece does not sell during the next six
month it shall find a home in my private collection, absolutely an
investment grade piece. In a New York or London gallery this piece would

Title: Ultra Fine Colima, Camala
Type, Conjoined Couple (Ex- Christies New York)

Description: A wonderfully caring Colima
couple. I have a lot of customers ask to see my private collection, which I
never allow. I have released this piece from my collection as I replaced it
with another. This was one of my favorite pieces of all time. A Shaman male
with his arm lovingly around his wife, she affectionately holds his hand.
Truly a remarkable piece and the surface is stone polished to the most
amazing surface. Both wear ornate necklaces, that would have been obsidian
in real life. He wears his ceremonial Shaman horn shown strapped to his
head. In his left hand he holds a detailed rattle. Both draped with cloth
and just the right amount of Manganese and dendrite deposits on the surface.
This piece was once sold in Christies of New York and has remained with me
since. Colima Shaman could not complete there training until they took a
wife, most Archeologist believe pieces such as this represent the final step
for the Shaman graduating to his high status. Legally purchased from a

Description: A very rare and early
Mayan, Guatemalan bottle of the Quetzalcoatl (plumed serpent). The
Quetzalcoatl was a heavily worshiped mythical creature by the Mayan Indians.
Many structures show the head of the Quetzalcoatl near the roof tops of the
buildings. This very detailed example still retains most of its color and
shows the serpent in coiled pose, exposing it's white painted fangs. Blue
painted eye guards and detailed facial features. The body is painted with
white spots, a very powerful piece.
