Description: A very rare Chavin, Peru volcanic glass (Obsidian) offering cup. This super rare piece sits on four small ground legs, is polished to a glass like surface and is masterfully carved with four open mouthed jaguars. Remains of cinnaibar in the carving. This very fragile piece remains in excellent as found condition.

Condition: Perfect, surface crack at base.
