Description:
Painted wood mummiform figure with hands in relief crossed at chest below the thin aegis collar. Wears tripartite royal wig and bears a single line of vertical hieroglyphics down the front pillar, line and dot filler throughout. Face in mustard brown with black painted features and red lips. Several cracks and paint loss. Mounted on a modern wood block plinth with horus falcon at his feet. Provenance: Ex. Harvey Sarner collection, Chicago, acquired from Harmer Rooke Galleries, NYC., about 1981, ex. Louis Toth collection, Florida, acquired in the 1960s.
Condition: Paint loss as seen, otherwise choice.
