SORRY THIE PIECE IS SOLD Ca. ca. 2nd to 1st centuries B.C.

Description: Very rare depiction of a youthful Erote / Eros, from Hellenistic Greece, ca. 2nd to 1st centuries B.C. Seated upon an integral socle, clutching a bunch of grapes, winged outstretched behind, remains of original white pigment, intact and excellent. Provenance, Ex-prominent Palm Springs, CA Collection acquired at Christie's, NYC, 1981.

Condition: As found, excellent

Dimension: 5-1/4"H
