Description:A very cute red slipped Colima dog effigy. Spouted at side with detailed eyes and mount, ears at alert and curled tail. Stone polished with Manganese / dendrite deposits present. The ancients believed that the dog would transport you to the afterlife one of the most recognizable and collectable of all pre-Columbian art. Legally purchased from a private collection. Legal release and disclosure papers included.
Condition: Tip of tail and one ear tip repaired, else perfect
