Description: An unusual Nayarit, Chinesco vessel showing the molded face of a male, coffee bean eyes, nose, open mount, large chin and ears. The rim is painted red, the body is painted with red spots, the surface is stone polished and has manganese and dendrite deposits. Legally purchased from a private collection.
Condition: Stable hairline crack at rear, the ancients started to bow drill on each side of the crack to tie it together but never finished drilling it.
