Description:A great, mint Anasazi St Johns Black-on-Red Pitcher. The pitcher is done with a black ticked rim, interlocking geometric motifs around the neck and spiral design patterns around hte body. Directional "kills" on rim. This is the intentional chipping of the rim in the four directions to kill the spirit inside the pottery. A great example.
Condition: Perfect. The collector did engrave the bottom with his name and 1966, the date he found the pitcher
Dimension: Height: 5.5 inches & Diameter: 3.5 inches
